Paul Mears

CAPTAIN

Paul is the founder and driving force behind Helmledgers. With more than 30 years of forensic accounting experience, the product grew out of his own work interrogating company filings and repeatedly finding important issues buried in disclosures that conventional review could miss.

He combines deep domain knowledge with AI to turn that experience into a codified accounting-intelligence layer, helping users identify what matters, trace findings back to source and navigate complex filings with greater clarity and confidence.

Stephen Power

VICE CAPTAIN

Stephen leads commercial strategy, product and go-to-market at Helmledgers. With a background in GTM, digital innovation and business scaling, he focuses on turning complex ideas and intelligence into products and experiences that people genuinely want to use.

He brings a pragmatic, forward-looking approach across product, UI and customer experience, helping turn choppy waters into plain sailing through clear thinking and operational excellence.
